Another week, another Round Up.
This one’s going to be short and sweet. I’ve got three english exams to study for that start tomorrow (two tomorrow, one friday). Of course, I’ve been watching trailers when I should be studying BUT THAT’S BESIDES THE POINT. In my spare time I’ve been playing lots of WOW with the wife, and a new closed beta from the creator of Diablo, It Lurks Below. Be sure to check out my first impressions in that link to learn about what could be the next big thing.
Anyways, onto the trailers!
Deadpool 2 gets a new trailer
The hype surrounding this film is huge. It continues to escalate thanks to the new trailer that introduces us to the time travelling son of Cyclops, Cable. In typical Deadpool fashion, the effects haven’t been completed for Cables arm, so Deadpool has to tide us over with an intense version of the films events in toy form until they’re completed. Even with Fox making the jump to Disney, it looks like our “Merc with a Mouth” has remained intact, foul language and all.
Deadpool 2 opens in theaters May 18th, 2018.
Super Bowl TV Spot Extravagenza!
If you’ve been living under a rock for the past week, there were a ton of awesome trailers released during the Super Bowl that demand your attention. Here are my favorites in rapid fire form………
I’m excited for this one even more now that my wife is into Star Wars since watching The Last Jedi. She’ll be able to come with all of us this time instead of sitting it out. She’s pretty rad.
The dinosaurs look a hell of a lot more terrifying in this one. That opening scene is spooky as fuck. I would not want a pet dinosaur if it did that while I was trying to sleep.
Tom Cruise is back and better than ever. Henry Cavill looks like a badass villain in this one too. Glad he kept the sick mustache while filming Justice League. Sick mustache bro.
This TV spot has been placed at the beginning of the awesome Infinity War trailer. Not a whole lot of new footage but still exciting nonetheless.
To think that in May we get Infinity War, Solo & Deadpool is overkill for my geek brain. I won’t be able to handle it.
That’s it for The Round Up, until next time! – NVJ
