Another week, another Round Up.
How was everyone’s weekend?
I played a ton of World of Warcraft with the wife. It severely hindered our sleep, and the kids decided to get up exceptionally early on Saturday and Sunday. Coffee has become our new best friend (more than usual). We play on the server Kul Tiras most of the time, running stuff in our guild “Eh Team“. We are looking for a few more to fill out our raid group, so if you’re looking for a good time (not that kinda good time), feel free to hit us up. I just recently hit 110 on my Paladin, and can honestly say I’ve never been more satisfied then I have leveling up his artifact weapon. I maxed out Artifact Knowledge on my Rogue, so being able to upgrade my Paladin weapon by 50 levels the minute I hit 110 was amazing. Our WOW addiction won’t be slowing down anytime soon.
Let’s see what’s going through my thought process……
Mega Man 11 announced!
Mega Man fans have been clamoring for this one. After the colossal failure that was Mighty No 9, here’s a game to actually get excited for. While 10 was developed to look like the originals, Mega Man 11 adopts a more modern aesthetic. The destructive environments look cool, as does the new brick ability. Other then that though, not a lot is shown off in the trailer. The release is still a year away, so who knows what improvements will be made, or features added. Either way, just be happy Capcom is still making Mega Man games!
Mega Man 11 releases on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch & PC late 2018.
Mega Man X Collection releasing on modern consoles
MORE MEGA MAN NEWS. The Mega Man X Collection, which includes all 8 games, will be releasing on all consoles next year. The last X game I played was 5, so I’ve got some catching up to do. I’ve always enjoyed the X games a bit more than the original, because of the upgrades you can get for your suit. Now, all Capcom needs to do is announce a new Mega Man Legends game and my heart will burst with joy.

Secret of Mana Remake to receive physical release
This is badass! Square Enix has announced that there will be limited quantities, available exclusively at Gamestop in United States, and EB Games in Canada. I typically only buy digital, but since we’ve moved to the country, downloading isn’t really an option anymore. If you pre-order you get moogle and tiger costumes for your characters. It’s not quite as awesome as the Japan only Collector’s Edition, but it will do. This will definitely be a day one purchase for me.
Secret of Mana releases on PS4, PS Vita & Steam on February 15th, 2018.
Avengers: Infinity War finally gets an official trailer
We’ve been building up to this. A culmination of all the Marvel films, starting with Iron Man. Now, this trailer isn’t quite as awesome as the footage shown at D23, but it’ll still get you hyped for next May. Directors Joe & Anthony Russo have proven themselves amazing directors with Captain America: Winter Soldier and Civil War. This two part event should be nothing short of epic.
Avengers: Infinity War – Part 1 is in theaters May, 2018.
Disney still in talks to acquire Fox
More good news for the MCU! Reports from Deadline co-editor-in-chief Mike Fleming Jr. state that there is still very much a deal going down with Disney acquiring Fox’s TV and film studio. If this is true, this is exciting times for Marvel fans. Fox has the rights to Deadpool, X-Men, Venom and Fantastic Four. After Infinity War, we could have a whole new set of films involving these characters in the MCU. Although we probably won’t see Deadpool in the MCU, maybe Venom will make the transition from R-rated to battling it out with Tom Hollands Spidey.
Marvel Heroes/Marvel Heroes Omega officially shuts down their servers
Yeah, this sucks. I was a huge fan of this game, as were many others. I won’t go into detail here, but if you want to read about my thoughts on the whole situation, click here. It’s just a bad time for players of the game, and the employees at Gazillion. Players were promised a shutdown date of December 31st, 2017, but that was cut short this week and now the servers have just completely been shutdown. Welp, time to play some more Diablo 3.
